Sassy Stash

Faux fur vest sweater dress and bootsA friend recently introduced me to the Sassy Stash and I’m excited to share it with you today.  I’m sure you’ve all been in the quandary of what to do with phone, keys, ID, and/or money when going to a party, bar, or club.  The times where you need to free up your hands and carrying a purse is more annoying than helpful.  If you’re familiar with the predicament I’m describing, you need to check out the Sassy Stash.   It’s adjustable so you can wear it completely out of sight or peeping through like I am here.  Hope you like it as much as I do!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Happy Monday. Be stylish and be well! xo

Sweater Dress

Chunky Sweater turtleneck dress and FedoraIrregardless of what’s trending, every autumn I look forward to sweaters.  Especially the sweater dress which is warm, cozy, and so comfortable!  And it’s so easily styled and accessorized up or down.  I love them with knee high boots and socks peeping over the top or thigh high boots.  Today, I opted for booties as the weather isn’t quite chilly enough for knee high boots.  When shopping sweater dresses, I like to avoid very chunky bulk inducing fabrics as I’m not very tall.  I usually look for interesting features such as turtlenecks, side slits, zipper accents, asymmetric hemlines, textures, etc…  For instance, I love this dress because how can anyone deny a lace adorned sweater dress?

Hope you had a great weekend.  Happy Monday, be stylish and be well! xo

Resort Casual

Floral shorts orange tank fedoraOne of the main reasons I enjoy escaping to Hawaii is because of its laid back vibe.  Thus, when I’m on the islands my fashion choices reflect a casual, relaxed tone.

Hope you had a great week.  Happy Friday!  Be stylish and be well. xo

Baby Alpaca

DSC_3117The unusual winter heat around the Bay has finally given way to dismal, but much needed, rainfall.  Alongside, came the chill in the air which has me back in a beanie!  This is my favorite beanie which is made of baby alpaca.  Three years ago, I hadn’t even heard of alpacas until a friend who raised them educated me.  Apparently, the alpaca fiber is softer and warmer than cashmere and is hypoallergenic.  I don’t know about you, but I was under the impression cashmere was the gold standard in luxurious, warmth desirability!  So, when I saw this beanie a couple of years ago on a cold, weekend snow trip I decided to splurge.  My verdict?  It has lived up to its silky soft and cozy warm claim to fame.  Now whether that’s factual or self justification, we’ll never really know, right?

These photos were snapped on my way to lunch and in a scurry as rain was imminent and predicted to arrive at any moment.  As you can see, I ‘conveniently’ left behind my purse and wallet.  It’s safe to say, I didn’t buy lunch that day. 😉

Have a great weekend and make it stylish! xo

Bold & Linear

DSC_6977I scooped up this sweater last week on a fun shopping trip to Zara with a girlfriend!  As I had just been to Zara two days prior to that, I was anticipating enjoying girl time above real shopping.  (By real, I mean the type of shopping where the phone goes on airplane mode, the search mission begins and laser focus is critical!)  Well, well, I managed to spend at least twice as much as my friend as she fine-tooth combed the sale rack and came out triumphant.  This sweater was my one and only clearance item!  As it turns out, it was my best purchase that day as I’ve worn this sweater twice already while everything else remain with tags attached.

Hope you had a great Valentine’s day and night.  Make it last through the weekend! xo
