Neutral Ground

DSC_8031_2Amongst my list of essentials for any season is a feminine military jacket!  I like this one because it’s not overwhelmingly long for my petite frame.  It’s cinched at the waist and accentuates a feminine silhouette.  The standup collar projects a corporal vibe.  And the studs add just enough embellishment to distinguish the jacket as belonging on the streets rather than in the trenches.  The military jacket is truly utilitarian because it’s neutral color lends itself to a plethora of looks and color palettes.  Here, I’ve paired it with an entirely neutral ensemble where every article is an essential piece in my opinion!

I LOVE that skirt.. You made it look so much better then the model from Zara!!!! I like wearing shorter skirts because I am short but I worry about my age- 48…. be honest..do you think there is an age where that would not be ok to wear?

    • I don’t believe in putting an age to fashion. I DO believe in body shape/type. I think flared is YOUR silhouette. Size up so it’ll sit lower for added length. Pair it with a button down blouse & blazer! It’d v. sophisticated. You can try mine on! 😉 xoxo
