With the weather being very cold, granted by San Francisco standards, I’ve been wrapping myself in cozy, chunky knits which are easy to thrown on. I have almost obliterated color from my daily repertoire, but since Christmas is still around the corner you’ll probably see a few more pops of red before I retire it from my winter rotation. For now, here’s yet another black and white look which carries an entirely different vibe from the last black and white outfit which was ultra modern.
If you aren’t familiar with chloe+isabel jewelry, I’m wearing one of their headbands which I absolutely adore. It’s got the perfect amount of vintage flair and whimsical touch. The best part of this headband is you can also wear it as a necklace! The two finger bar ring I’m wearing below is a little edgy and is super comfortable. A definite must have! Actually, all the chloe+isabel jewelry are timeless pieces and very affordable! I’ll be styling with a few of their statement pieces next week and teaming up with them to do a giveaway so stay tuned!
This is a blazer….I mean a dress. Well…,more accurately, a blazer worn as a dress! I’ve always had an affinity for feather adorned fashion. It adds that touch of romantic femininity to any look. Particularly in this instance, the feathers lend that critical femininity to balance this boxy, boyfriend blazer. Given that Elizabeth and James is usually cut large for my frame and that I sized up, this blazer works perfectly as a dress! Without stating the obvious, you can recreate this exact look pairing a boyfriend blazer with a feather skirt. So kick up the glamour in your holiday look this season by flaunting some festive, feathers!

A little goes a long way…tis the case with fur! In this case, the long hair fur makes a statement with multiple exclamation marks!!! The dramatic cascading frames a lapel shaped collar to an otherwise casual cardigan. The look is visually dramatic and opulent. It feels luxuriously soft and is incredibly warm. All the features that make me want to snuggle up to this sweater as the temperatures drop this month. As I mentioned before, my fashion obsessions during fall and winter shift emphasis to leather and fur. Thus, a simple pairing with faux leather pants and a pair of show-stopping heels rounds out laid back luxe with an edgy flair!
Fortuitously, I stumbled across this pair of Giorgio Armani fabulousness at Barneys New York outlet. There were only two pairs left at an obscenely discounted price and one was my size?! In a situation like this, I’m really only left with one choice! That’s right, I quickly scooped it up and made room for it in the closet. 😉 Without a doubt, I have a weakness for shoes!

This coat had me at hello! It is the perfect DREAM coat. The fur is fluffy and soft without being itchy. The cotton candy pink is the hot color trend this season. And, it fits snugly without excessive volume. I love that this is the type of coat which can be thrown on with almost any outfit for an instant GLAM!
